Meet our in-house designer – Ankita Singh. Abundantly talented and unapologetically dedicated, she is a 2015 design graduate from NIFT, Kannur. She tapped on her creative journey since her early childhood and owes her current successful-confident version to her parent’s endless support.
1. How does working at FREECULTR feel?
"It is synonymous with the name…a CULTURE that is FREE! As I shape and establish a language for the brand, it feels like living and breathing what I truly believe in…what I thrive for!”
2. What inspires you every day to work for a business that designs men’s apparel?
"I'm a person who dreads monotony. At FC, I not only get to question what's next and what's new, but I also get to create it. And this problem-solving creative approach is what keeps me going every day!"
3. What are the obstacles you face while obliging to your role?
"As the brand philosophy revolves around problem-solving, being a female counterpart makes it difficult for me to gauge the comfort troubles that men go through in real life. But conversations and research go a long way in solving my design dilemmas. Another challenge is that socially I get trolled a lot for being ‘The woman who designs ‘Men's Inner/Lounge Wear’. But I don’t let this judgment slow me down even by a bit!”
4. What do you love the most about your job?
" Well, everything, especially the part where science and art meet in the form of fabric innovations and creative designs! But the thing that I truly love is interacting with our customers. Because their experience vouches for the fact that my hard work has finally paid off!”

Say hello to Radhika, our Human Resource Manager who does more than chalking out Rangolis! Currently pursuing PGDM in HRM, she is beating the stereotype that science students shouldn’t chase a career in management! Thanks to a perfect educational mishmash, we now know from where she bags her exceptional reading, listening, and management skills!
1. How does working at FREECULTR feel?
"Though it’s only been a month since I joined Freecultr, it has become an integral part of my life. Thanks to its informal culture, optimistic vibe, and crazy teammates, FC is becoming more of a second home and less of a workplace!"
2. What inspires you every day to work for a business that designs men’s apparel?
"I’ve seen the products and how they magically solve real-life men problems. My inspiration brews from my vision of seeing this brand design problem-solving women’s apparel too!"
3. What are the obstacles you face while obliging to your role?
"Hardly any external obstacles after joining. I sure was very skeptical before joining as the workforce here had more professional experience than me. To my luck, the team was as supportive as welcoming."
4. What do you love the most about your job?
"I love the fact that my role is dynamic. Mostly, I handle recruitment, work on policymaking and take care of the administrative work. On my creative days, I converse with Ankita to learn about different colors and materials while on other days, I observe how the finance and accounts departments roll!"

2. What inspires you every day to work for a business that designs men’s apparel?
"Coming from a family background that deals in fabrics, I always wanted to explore this niche more. The hunger for learning new and more things inspires me!"
3. What are the obstacles you face while obliging to your role?
"Resistance to change is and will always be an obstacle. Though I feel slightly overwhelmed dealing with new voices every day, I am trying to look at the brighter side - where I get them a deal they can’t refuse!"
4. What do you love the most about your job?
"I fancy this virtual interaction with new people! Moreover, the idea of challenging my persuasion skill with EVERY CALL really drives my enthu up!"

Meet our branding whizz – Hiya! A free-spirited, fiercely independent, majorly right-brained female who's been working in marketing for over 6 years now and aspires to travel to every single country in the world. She has a schizophrenic taste in music and books and dances like a maniac on steroids!

It's a space where I see myself growing as a professional while developing friendships that'd extend beyond the confines of the office.
2. What inspires you every day to work for a business that designs men’s apparel?
It’s quite simple actually. If men can sell women's lingerie, I don't see why women can't return the favor. After all we are the finer sex 😉
3. What are the obstacles you face while obliging to your role?
The general social reservation about intimates. People don't tend to talk about their innerwear, and as a marketer I need customers to talk - with us and among themselves. Removing the obvious shyness about innerwear is the biggest challenge I face as a marketer.
4. What do you love the most about your job?
The level of attachment and passion that everyone around me has for the brand is truly inspiring and infectious.

"Empowering! Because in a role that usually men cater to, we were hired in a blink!"
2. What inspires you every day to work for a business that designs men’s apparel?
"The fact that the workplace is full of growth and exposure. Our seniors teach and guide us with things that are beyond our job’s descriptions."
3. What are the obstacles you face while obliging to your role?
"Though initially, we felt slightly odd packing men’s innerwear, eventually we learned that there is nothing to be ashamed about. It is like packing any other thing. All we and our co-workers believe in is – Dignity Of Labor!"
4. What do you love the most about your job?
"We obsess knowing that we are packing happiness and delivering comfort!"
